Booking & Payment

How do I book a lesson?

Browse the lessons page, choose a session type, and click Book Now. You pay a deposit to secure the slot — the balance is settled on the day.

What deposit do I need to pay?

Deposits vary by lesson type. A single adult lesson requires a £20 deposit; blocks require £50–£75 depending on the package. Full details are shown at checkout.

What payment methods are accepted?

Visa, Mastercard, and American Express are accepted online via Stripe. You can also pay the balance by card on the day.

What is the cancellation policy?

Please give at least 24 hours' notice to rearrange or cancel. Deposits are non-refundable for cancellations with less than 24 hours' notice unless in exceptional circumstances.

The Lessons

Where are lessons held?

Lessons are held at a coaching facility in the Midlands, UK. The exact address and directions will be provided at time of booking.

What should I bring to my lesson?

Your clubs (or let us know if you need loan clubs), golf shoes if you have them, and comfortable clothing. That's it.

Do you use video analysis and launch monitors?

Yes. Jack uses Trackman launch monitor technology and video analysis to give you accurate, data-backed feedback on your swing. You can see exactly what your club and ball are doing.

How long before I see improvement?

Most students notice a difference during or immediately after their first lesson. Consistent improvement in scores typically happens over 4–6 sessions, depending on how often you practise.

🌱

For Beginners

I've never played golf before. Is that okay?

Absolutely. Jack has taught hundreds of complete beginners. The first session covers everything from grip and stance to making solid contact — no experience required.

Do I need my own clubs to start?

No. Loan clubs are available for beginners. Once you're sure golf is for you, Jack can advise on the right set of clubs for your budget and swing.

I'm not very fit — is golf still for me?

Golf is one of the most inclusive sports in the world. It can be adapted for any level of fitness or mobility. Just get in touch if you have any specific concerns.

How quickly can a beginner progress?

It varies, but with regular practice between lessons, most beginners are playing 9-hole rounds within 2–3 months. Jack will give you a clear, honest idea of your progress at every session.

Junior Golf

What age can juniors start?

Jack coaches juniors from age 6. There is no minimum ability required — just enthusiasm. Sessions are always tailored to the age and ability of the junior.

Is Jack DBS checked?

Yes. Jack holds a current DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) certificate and a safeguarding qualification. Your child's safety is always the priority.

Can I stay and watch?

Yes. Parents and guardians are welcome to observe lessons from the side. Jack will give you a full update on progress at the end of every session.

My child has ADHD / is neurodivergent. Can Jack accommodate this?

Yes. Jack is experienced at adapting sessions to suit different learning styles and attention spans. Please mention any specific needs when booking and Jack will plan accordingly.

Packages & Vouchers

What are the benefits of buying a lesson block?

Blocks of 5 or 10 lessons save you money vs individual bookings (up to £75 on a block of 10). They also allow Jack to build a proper coaching plan across multiple sessions, which produces much better results than one-off lessons.

How long do I have to use a lesson package?

Lesson packages should be used within 12 months of purchase. Get in touch if you need more flexibility.

How do gift vouchers work?

Buy a voucher for any amount from £20. The recipient gets a unique code by email which they enter at checkout when booking any lesson. Vouchers are valid for 12 months and any unused balance carries over between bookings.

Can a gift voucher be used across multiple bookings?

Yes. The voucher balance carries over. If a £60 voucher is used towards a £35 junior lesson, the remaining £25 stays on the voucher for future use.
