Last updated: 28 March 2026

1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions govern the booking of golf lessons and coaching services provided by Jack Longley ("we", "us", "Jack"), a PGA Golf Professional based in the Midlands, UK, through the website jacklongleygolf.co.uk ("the Website").

By completing a booking through this Website, you ("the client") agree to these Terms and Conditions in full. Please read them carefully before booking.

For queries, contact us at mail@jacklongleygolf.co.uk.

2. Booking Process

All bookings are subject to availability and are confirmed only once:

  • A deposit or full payment has been successfully processed; and
  • You have received a booking confirmation email from us.

We reserve the right to decline or cancel any booking at our discretion, in which case a full refund will be issued.

3. Pricing and Payment

  • All prices displayed on the Website are in British Pounds Sterling (GBP) and include VAT where applicable.
  • Payment is processed securely through Stripe. We do not store your full card details.
  • A deposit may be required at the time of booking to secure your lesson slot. The deposit amount will be clearly shown before you confirm your booking.
  • Any remaining balance is due at the time of the lesson, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
  • For lesson packages (block bookings), full payment is required at the time of booking.

4. Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy

4.1 Cancellations by You

  • More than 48 hours before the lesson: A full refund of any deposit or payment made will be issued, typically within 5–10 business days.
  • Less than 48 hours before the lesson: The deposit is non-refundable. If full payment has been made, a credit note may be issued at our discretion.
  • No-shows (failure to attend without notice): No refund will be given.

To cancel, please email mail@jacklongleygolf.co.uk or use the cancellation option in your account.

4.2 Rescheduling by You

You may reschedule a lesson free of charge if more than 48 hours' notice is given. Rescheduling requests made within 48 hours of the lesson will be treated as a cancellation and the 48-hour policy above will apply.

4.3 Cancellations by Jack Longley Golf

In the unlikely event that we need to cancel a lesson (e.g. due to illness, unsafe weather conditions, or unforeseen circumstances), you will be offered either:

  • A full refund of any payment made for that session; or
  • A rescheduled lesson at a mutually convenient time.

We will provide as much advance notice as possible in such circumstances.

5. Lesson Packages (Block Bookings)

  • Lesson packages must be used within 12 months of purchase unless otherwise agreed.
  • Packages are non-transferable and cannot be shared between individuals.
  • Unused sessions in a package are non-refundable after the 12-month period expires.
  • Individual sessions within a package are subject to the 48-hour cancellation policy in Section 4.1.
  • We reserve the right to adjust package pricing; existing purchases will be honoured at the price paid.

6. Gift Vouchers

  • Gift vouchers are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase unless otherwise stated.
  • Vouchers cannot be exchanged for cash and are non-refundable.
  • Lost or stolen vouchers cannot be replaced.

7. Conduct and Health & Safety

  • Clients must inform Jack of any medical conditions, injuries, or physical limitations before the lesson begins.
  • All clients participate in lessons at their own risk. We recommend appropriate golf attire and footwear.
  • We reserve the right to terminate a lesson without refund if a client behaves in a manner that is dangerous, abusive, or disruptive.
  • Clients are responsible for their own equipment. We accept no liability for damage to personal equipment during lessons.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • Jack Longley Golf shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from the provision of coaching services or use of this Website.
  • Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or in connection with a booking shall not exceed the amount you paid for the relevant lesson or package.
  • Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
